Carving jack-o’-lanterns? 🎃 Don’t skip this step, if you’re a gardener! Fall is in the air! 🍂 Can you guess what tree this leaf is from? For those of us in northern climates, it’s time to rescue those tender bulbs from the chill of winter! If you haven’t dug up such plants as dahlias, cannas, gladiolus, and caladiums, then now is the time. 🪏 The American Iris Society (AIS) has announced their 2026 Iris of the Year: the tall bearded iris ‘Royston Rubies.’ Soil! The foundation of any good garden. Without a good healthy soil - and the proper soil pH - your plants are far more likely to suffer during the growing season. PSA: Plant your garlic! 🧄 Can we get some love for our native flowers? 🙌 Have you heard of Coral Bells? A popular choice for shady areas, this plant has been increasingly bred for colorful foliage - a welcome spot of brightness in dark areas. 💐 Spring isn’t the only time for roses! We took a trip to the Gardens at Yaddo in Saratoga Springs, where several roses were still showing off their beautiful blooms.
