One year ago, we finally planted the seed for the Daily Dirt. Since then, we’ve watched this new venture grow and flourish, thanks to our wonderful readers and supporters from across the country! 🌱 Sound on for that buzz! These early blooming iris (iris reticulata Blue Hill) are getting a lot of attention from some local honeybees. 🐝 If you spy a glint of yellow amongst the trees… it may be a sign of spring! Daffodils are amongst the earliest flowers to pop up, and the can be found all over old orchards and homesteads. Keep those eyes peeled! It’s here! It’s spring! We made it! Time for some celebratory seed starting. Who’s with me?! 🙌 There’s always room for more plants, right? 🌱 Why not plan a healing garden while you wait for spring? A healing garden promotes calm and welcomes plants that offer comfort and soothing sensory experiences.
